The special interest groups are not currently running. In the new proposal (submitted 30 July 2015), these SIGs are updated, so that there are four, on Human Neuroinformatics, Electrophysiology, Image-based Neuroinformatics, and Computational Modelling and Simulation Environments. More information will be given when we hear about how the proposal is faring at review!

These provide a focus for more specialist workshops and better interaction with the relevant activities at the INCF and other member countries.At our one-day Symposium at the BNA Conference in April 2011, the SIGs were launched and each SIG Champion spoke of the plans for their SIGs.
